Yet dirty drinking water, unhealthy hygiene and unsafe sanitation cause the deaths of 1.4 million people every year and over 1000 children under the age of 5 every day. pay for medicines or food and fall into debt.
Toilet Twinning funds hygiene education via community-led workshops and sourcing local materials for families and communities to build their own toilets.

If you’re anything like us, you’re really not ok with people living without access to safe water, sanitation and hygiene. If you or I can safely go to the toilet, why can’t everybody? Walk how many miles for a glass of drinkable water? That’s ridiculous.

What’s this all about?
Toilet Twinning has been running since 2010.
First, as a joint venture between NGOs Tearfund and Cord, and since 2015 as a fundraising source for Tearfund.
We keep our administration costs as low as possible, to make sure your donation has the biggest impact possible for people living in poverty in some of the world’s poorest countries.
